It is with the greatest pleasure that I recommend Belinda Balogh as a personal trainer. I have known Belinda in a business capacity as a client since 2001. She came to our offices at our request and worked with us as a trainer for several months. We all thoroughly enjoyed the workouts that she designed for us and appreciated her knowledge, professionalism and flexibility. She was always on time and fully prepared. Belinda's gentle encouragement in pushing you to the next level is very motivating. She is an inspiration to others because she "walks the walk and talks the talk," applying what she teaches others to herself.

I came to Belinda in 2006 after injuring my back. I can't say enough about how working with her has helped me stay healthy and pain-free. Belinda is awesome and is one of the reasons that I am upright and ambulatory! I could barely touch my knees when I started in 2006 and now I can touch my toes and am so much stronger. Belinda was able to work with me at the level that I was capable of and just push me enough to help me make incremental, but noticeable progress without re-injuring myself. I have followed her to three different locations to continue to receive her fantastic guidance and instruction!

I enjoy working out with Belinda Balogh because she holds ME accountable for my workout. She makes me push myself to my fullest potential. And even though I may be cursing her in my head, when the workout is done I feel accomplished and healthy.

I have had a shoulder injury recently and Belinda customizes my workout around that restriction. It's also fun to workout with others. Talking and laughing during the workout makes it WAY more interesting and an hour seems to FLY by.

Class starts at 7:30-AM and I woke up at 7:15AM!!!! Jumped out of bed, put my workout clothes on, jumped in the car and made it to a class that I do not like to miss … PILATES!!! Belinda is wonderful and we all feel so much better after the class than we did before class!!

I asked myself “what is the number one cause for getting out of shape?” and it all boils down to one thing, excuses. I’ve joined gyms and had excuses like, “my circuit gets interrupted by other people using the machine I want to use” … OR “I don’t want other people watching me.” … Or just, “I’ll go tomorrow.” Meanwhile, my monthly dues keep racking up and, other than the guilt of the money, I keep procrastinating and am not accountable to anyone for my laziness or procrastination.

Well, I have no more excuses now. I am accountable to MY TRAINER. Belinda, of Baby Boomer Fitness Solutions, has helped me set my fitness goals, and is both encouraging and supportive. Belinda offers a variety of classes that are perfect for us, Baby Boomers, who are or want to be active and yet feel threatened by overzealous fitness fanatics. Whether you are getting over a surgery and need an adaptive program to rehabilitate you back into action, or are simply trying to see your toes again, she creatively designs the exercise program that puts you in the zone to accomplish your goals. Belinda’s circuit training class is so much fun. Every session, she brings out different “toys of torture” of which we laugh, we moan, we catch a glow … and I feel things firming up, but I have never been overworked to the point that I was so sore, I had to come up with an excuse to skip the next class. Because of her small, personalized class sizes, each class is comfortable and motivates each participant to connect with other class buddies … and yet Belinda is right on us, to make sure that our form is correct and we are getting the most from the time we are putting into each exercise.

I am excited to recommend Belinda Balogh as a Certified Personal Trainer! She has been a huge part in my weight loss and toning success. I started working with Belinda at the end of January, 2008, after becoming engaged to my boyfriend, and realizing I needed some sort of help fitting into my ‘perfect’ wedding dress! Until July, 2008, when my fiancé’s job was relocated to the East Coast, Belinda and I met twice weekly. The original reason I chose Belinda was because I felt more comfortable with a female trainer and never regretted it for a second! However, as Belinda and I developed a professional trainer/client relationship, I found her to be insightful, proactive, funny, and intuitive.

Regularly, Belinda performed monthly body composition measurements, along with a ‘report card’ to keep me up-to-date on my progress. She provided professional direction regarding a well-balanced, correct caloric meal plan, with foods that I actually enjoyed eating. Something that I didn’t expect was that Belinda kept me on task with my nutritional plan, by via face-to-face, email and/or phone communication. She was genuinely interested about the feelings I was experiencing during the changes during my program. This type of regular “checking” made me accountable to myself, and educated me about the “whys” of changes and emotional feelings I was experiencing.

Always upbeat and supportive, Belinda always listened to my needs, and adjusted my workout often to keep up with the changes my body was making, as I became stronger, lost fat, and toned up. She understood my weaknesses, and made herself available by phone and email for those times when I might need some advice on the nutrition plan (or just a boost of motivation)!

I enjoyed her emphasis on Pilates work, during each workout session - it really surprised me how well this exercise method toned and strengthened my body! It looks easy but it’s tough and it works!!! Belinda never missed an appointment. Additionally, if I was interested in changing my appointment time, Belinda did whatever she could to accommodate my very busy schedule.
I never ‘dreaded’ going to the gym, since I knew that I would have her supportive guidance, her caring exuberance, and professional expertise. She is a joy to work with, and has always been extremely supportive of me as a client and as a person. When I needed tough, she got tough-- never letting me slack off. However, when there were days that I needed something less intense, she intuitively knew, and pushed me to just the “right amount” of intensity.
In conclusion, I wish I could continue working with Belinda. She really provided me the right tools and inspirational direction I needed to continue on my own (until I find a new trainer on the East Coast). Trust me, if you are looking for that special trainer that is professional, genuine, warm, respectful, and knows how to read you as a person, go to Belinda - she’s fantastic!! Thanks to Belinda, I’m a fitter, healthier bride for my wedding in October!
